narcasse: Sebastian Flyte. Brideshead Revisited (2008) (Hmm)
Ed’s piano piece appears to be in G major and 4/4 time. If it’s actually compound time then I’ll figure that out later. The bass clef seems to have a running set of quavers followed by a crotchet for the most part which will make that easy enough to play but some of the quaver runs in the treble clef elude me at the moment.

It’s also a slightly annoying piece to figure out using only a flute. But damn it, I’m going to get it done, though once I’ve actually written the entire thing down I need to find a piano to practice on and unfortunately any of the ones belonging to friends in the area don’t sound half as good as mine. Which is probably because they’re nasty modern ones with no soul that go ‘twang’. They’ve also not been loved so I suppose it’s not exactly their fault that they go ‘twang’ heartlessly either.
