I’m writing a dissertation about isolationist rhetoric. I could get an entire thesis out of dissecting isolationist policy. I could spend the rest of my life going on and on about the universal theory of justice.

Did you know, the province of Gorizia has a Gothic cathedral and a 16th century fortress? And I swear the picture of Niccolò Machiavelli on the cover of my copy of "The Prince" (which is a photo of a portrait of him by Santi di Tito) looks like it’s mocking me.

I also have no intention of sleeping till I reach a certain word-count.

Fuck it. Almost wrote ‘arse’ instead of ‘arise’ and seem to have lost the ability to spell ‘whether’, problematic since ‘whether’ is among favourite words. Example of another favourite word is ‘dirigible’, unfortunately absolutely no use for it in dissertation.
Going to bed for a couple of hours.

Awake. Daylight going on. Not sure can cope with it. Dissertation looking slightly more entertaining after having slept. Tonsils breaking down though as well as one of right toes for some reason. Bizare.
Also losing pronouns; blame TV adaptation of "Gormenghast" for this, particularly character of Flay as played by the exceptional Christopher Lee.

Foul language and people who aren’t me, being reasonable )

Yes, I am aware of the irony of this track title. See what my dissertation is doing to me.

Cock, svelte digits, cock, concupiscent slickness. No, this isn’t another conversation I’ve had. )

And I think I’ve defeated the point of cutting this by typing ‘cock’ twice in the cut text anyway.

A Yaoi hole? )

Comes a point when the worry arises that in researching land-owning isolationists the possibility of understanding them to the point of sympathising might occur. Perhaps akin to societal Stockholm Syndrome.

Fortunately, while comprehension of last night’s research was reasonable, today’s data reforms the initial arguments to their detriment. Arguments become delightfully entertaining as sympathy plummets.
Most advantageous to dissertation too.
