Behold, a bootable XP CD with SP2 integrated!
Ok, so it’s not exactly anything of a great achievement but after a non-bootable CD or two, I’m kind of pleased that I’ve figured out where I went wrong. At least I think I have anyway. I’m probably going to have to try it out tomorrow on a machine needing a clean install because either of my machines, already running XP, will just pick it up, bootable or otherwise. In fact, now that I think about it, I’m a bit of an idiot to have tried to create a bootable CD using whatever standard boot image Nero decided on, instead of the official one from the original CD.
