So I’m wide awake and fairly non-wobbly since these Lemsip capsules not only contain the requisite paracetamol and decongestant (phenylephrine HCL) but also caffeine. I didn’t realise that until after I’d taken one and suddenly found that I was fairly wide awake and lucid. It’s been a day filled with Burmese soup, a chickpea thing and lots of hot water so I was rather expecting to end up tumbling back into bed.
Also, having spent several days trying to figure out if my sense of smell has been going haywire, it turns out that several of the candles lit for various Buddhist reasons are actually scented, which also explains why there’s been a distinct lack of incense smell all over the place over the last few days.
But moving onto the point of this post, well one of the points of it anyway, looking at the artwork for the Meine Liebe novel and in particular Ludwig gifting Naoji with what’s later to become his signature white silk hair-ribbon it struck me as an absolute stroke of genius on Ludwig’s part. Because seeing as it’s a gift Naoji would of course immediately remove his previous hair-tie to put the ribbon in, securing Ludwig’s status as boy-friend-to-be as well as giving him a fair bit of eye-candy in the process. It’s brilliant! Why I’ve never used a ploy like that myself, I don’t know, though possibly that might be because people are forever trying to get me to wear my hair loose anyway. Which somehow reminds me that I should really figure out if I need a dressage whip or just a standard riding crop instead...
Anyway, getting to the other point of this post that has somehow taken me three Castlevania soundtracks to get to; a list of things I need to write.
