I’m not entirely convinced that two out of three phone-monkeys know what a modem or a router do respectively, in fact I’m not even sure that they actually realise that there is a difference between the two. I should instigate a new rule really; if you can’t tell the difference you shouldn’t be talking about it and if you insist on doing so, with the divine authority vested in me by... myself I should then be perfectly within my rights to saw off your hands, with a dead PCI card.
I’m all for poetic justice really when I think about it. I suppose I’m just that sort of Deus.

At least I’m going to get more Cat5 crossover cable at some point.
