narcasse: Sebastian Flyte. Brideshead Revisited (2008) (flashback)
Turns out that the ‘spare’ primary HD that was about; is a piece of junk. Every so often it craps out on me and occasionally chkdsk turns up bad sectors so the only solution is to throw it at the next person who irritates me or weld it to their head, I’m undecided as to which I’d go for right now. While throwing it at them has a classic Long-Range Brick brutality about it, welding it to their head has a definite artistry going for it. Regardless, I do have a new 250 GB Maxtor symbiote for the concentrated evil that is my machine. But really, I don’t like to reload everything for shits and giggles if I can at all help it. I need to back up everything on the primary drive first anyway and then perhaps this evening or tomorrow I can get a basic setup going because if I attempt to do too much in one go I may actually end up killing something and since I’m already developing that hollow-eyed psychotic stare again it’s probably better for the world if I take my time over the matter.
