In other news, I’ve never regarded myself as a combat-driven gamer: if I want to playing a fighting game I’ll go play one but I’ve always thought myself happy with point and click adventures as well. That said, replaying Blood Omen I’ve found myself thinking that I’d quite happily do unspeakable things to Kain’s doubtless decomposing business in exchange for just one combo that wasn’t hit attack repeatedly until he laughs, shouts “Vae victis” or something dies. Still, at least directional blood suck is always entertaining.
