Fairytale

He splashes water on his face and stares up at the dripping reflection in the mirror above the bowl. Resolute, defiant.
Thinks about the gun by his pillow, about the phonecalls he could make, the letters almost written.
He would kill for the boy. Would change everything to free him from that tangled spider’s web.
Except...
It’s like the fantasy of fairytales, of vampires in fiction.
You need to kill the original before you can free any of his brides. You need to be a prince to actually save the princess.
And a Marquis has no idea where to begin...
