Sporadically speaking

No, it certainly isn't your responsibility to educate anyone. It probably happens a lot though, in a completely inadvertant fashion, one of those nice side effects of dialoguing. I confess, sometimes because I'm '9-years-old', or overdosing on sugar, or possessed by the Monkey King, if I see a huge, gi-normous "Poke Me" button, I simply have to poke it because the fireworks and battle-mustering and explosions are just so f**king hilarious. It usually takes a hefty overdose of something or other --- self-importance? pomposity? jingoism? heavyhanded authoritarianism? *shrug* --- to summon forth that hobgoblin. But, no, I haven't been tempted here and not out of the fear of being banned (because usually when civility disintegrates to that extent, I don't want to continue the relationship anyway) but because our dialogues have value and interest to me, because they are civil and respectful, and I am truly pleased to have made your online acquaintance.
