narcasse: Sebastian Flyte. Brideshead Revisited (2008) (Rosencreutz)

I was going to make a rather long and cryptic post but I honestly can’t quite be bothered so instead I’m going to post photos of a silly, self-indulgent purchase that I made in reasonable proximity to purchasing a copy of Debrett's New Guide to Etiquette and Modern Manners as well. These are the sort of things I buy for myself when I’m feeling terribly self-indulgent really. Except I did also pick up some white chocolate covered strawberries but they were freeze-dried so tasted awful.

Though I suppose I ought to say that my somewhat cryptic post was going to be to the point that people who’ve felt the urge to wave their absurdity in my face in the past do seem to have been making a habit of humiliating themselves in public of late. Several of them have done it recently, entirely without my prompting and of the few who haven’t; they do seem to be flaunting their mediocrity instead. Which while entertaining; is really rather strange.
So in the meantime I’m just going to get back into bed and curl up with my cardamom tea and an Asimov novel and enjoy the feeling of bemused satisfaction with the world. And possibly ponder what it is exactly that the powers that be may be after this time.
