I remember my piano teacher once telling me that there generally used to be the problem with female students that they’d start growing their nails once they started dating which made playing the piano rather difficult. You’re meant to keep your nails trimmed right down.
One of the things I really did enjoy about writing Ion here was that he so very obviously just didn’t get it, there were so many clues and in the end he was even sat in the room while his naked tovarăş smoked and all that crossed his mind was that he wanted his friend back, because he was still just a child. In fact, genuinely innocent childlike Ion has to the second version of him that I actually like to write; the other version being the canny masks-as-a-face variety.

Changeling is another World of Darkness game system except this time all the players are changelings fighting against succumbing to banality and becoming human instead of vampires fighting against succumbing to the beast and becoming monsters or prometheans fighting to regain their humanity instead of just being bits and pieces of humans who have been put back together. I really need to do a little bit more reading in regards to Promethean though. In that context you could take it either way and suggest that Radu either transcends Seth’s fake changeling kingdom by recognising that it’s a lie or that if Seth rules the true dreaming then he succumbs to banality becoming human and thus has to die. I think it does work better if Seth herself has fallen into banality and is infecting everyone else though.
