Poor Süleyman indeed. He comes from a family where everybody has been plotting and scheming against each other for years, and then finds that he’s the last man standing almost by accident rather than design.
That’s actually Radu’s grandfather in this story, though Mircea is a rather manipulative man entirely of his own volition, for the sake of his own family, rather than due to any outside influence like the Orden.
