I’m only running on one tablet this morning because the pharmacy won’t get the other ones in till later this afternoon so I should probably just sit about and try not to overexert myself, as if there’s been any danger of that during the last week. Not that there is any chance of my doing myself damage. It would take months, if not over a year, for anything other than my kidneys to go funny.
Of course my head does feel fuzzy but that might be due to a lack of caffeine and the fact that I don’t feel like eating in this weather. When did I last have a proper meal anyway?
Or it might be due to last night being one of the few occasions when I’ve turned my computer off. Sympathetic sluggishness after a reboot or something.
My poor machine is overheating, even with excessive case-fans. I suspect that I know how he feels. I may have to invest in some other form of coolant system… for the both of us.
Edit:
In other news, my copy of the latest Potter book has shipped apparently. Though there’ll be no excuse for me to go about wearing my Slytherin scarf for another 4 months or so, which is a shame. It is quite amusing to be reading a set of books where I can’t stand the main characters though. Of course the younger generation of Slytherins seem to be fairly stupid too which doesn’t help the matter…

Date: 2005-07-19 04:24 pm (UTC)Bah, Harry Potter. I refuse to read HBP on principle, despite being in possession of the previous five. ~_~
I do hope you're feeling better; failing that, appropriately medicated. ~_^

Date: 2005-07-21 04:40 am (UTC)The latest Potter book is actually quite a lot better than its predecessor, though that’s not saying much really. I may take my time over reading it anyway, since I keep getting distracted by shinier things such as grammar books and Wagner librettos…
I’m also appropriately mediated and feeling much better now too… though I’ve no idea if the better mood can be put down to fresher sea air or having had the opportunity to rant about the greater failings of humanity, in between being ranted at about the perils of trying to escape Germany while injured. :/
