Spent part of yesterday playing solitaire with real cards for some reason. I have no idea why. And had the irrational urge to play chess in the middle of the day, though I didn’t have any programs to hand, so resorted to solitaire in the end.
At least I can still decently shuffle cards without ending up spraying them everywhere, I suppose.

I'm starting to think that a new deck of cards would be a solid investment. ~_~

Chess is a wonderful thing. Must say that I prefer playing against people whose backsides I can kick as opposed to people who present much of a challenge, for some reason.

Solitaire! I can play solitaire for an hour and a half! Woot! ...Nuts.

I’ve been playing chess against my cousin for years and he has yet to beat me. The day that he does, I will renounce my claim to absolute authority and the divine right of kings and pass that burden on to him.
Though after over a decade that day has yet to come. ^_~

I did get hold of a nifty copy of Battle Chess that actually works under XP the other day, unfortunately while it works well enough; it also lives in a window so small that you’d lose simply because you can’t see what the hell you’re doing. So I’m waiting for a copy of the latest version of ChessMaster instead now.

But in the meantime I shall go watch Alexander and see if it really is quite the contents of a slop-pot that people keep saying it is.
