Limbo consigned to history books (Times online article)
I’m getting disappointed in Ratzinger already. I rather liked the idea of Limbo and now he’s getting rid of it. I mean, he’s the Bavarian ex-head of theCongregation of the Doctrine of Faith Inquisition; why isn’t the man burning witches and then some? This is completely rubbish, what kind of a Sith Lord is he anyway?
Also, why is Limbo currently for sale in the UK?
But more seriously, he’s the Pope. I expect him to do something stupid and pedantic… wait a minute. I see where this is going, he’s going to rewrite doctrine instead of doing anything useful. Hurrah.
Well done, Herr Pope. The furore over this among theological scholars and devout Catholics will easily cover your nefarious plans to burn more witches and do nothing about anything that actually matters. Marvellous.

Brilliant bit of satire, that.
and the thing about dinosaurs which is also quite funny.
