Absence

Ludwig drums his fingers against the empty wineglass as he stares out of the open windows with a less than critical interest. The rhythm is hardly a rhythm at all but more the absent rattle of a madman.
He’s certain that there should be some quote or some such to suit his dark mood but all that comes to mind is an admonishment to Macbeth.
"Screw your courage to the sticking-place..."
Courage isn’t what he lacks but rather mercy. With Naoji gone, there is no one left who could possibly temper his cruelty.
To discord now, he gives his devotion.

Unsurprisingly, Ludwig seems to be talking about Eris.
