I keep wondering if you could peel the little chip stickery thing off the side of one cartridge and use it on a non-HP branded one. Then again, can you even get non-HP substitutes? I know Lexmark apparently don’t have substitutes either or at least they’re not legal in the UK as far as I know.
And now I’m confusing myself because I’m sure you can get bubblejet cartridge substitutes but it might be the three-in-one printers that are fucked. Urk, I should just stick with knock-off office laser printers really.
