narcasse: Captain Crieff. Cabin Pressure. (stripes)
Having practically fallen over my own feet in this hotel room it's really quite impressive that I managed to get myself to Boston with little trouble other than overheating a few times because I'd bundled up against the cold. Some of that may well be due to the fact that I feel almost like a different person when I'm travelling. Suddenly all that CRM/sales/showmanship comes to the fore as if flipping a switch. I just need to figure how to turn that on and off consciously in other arenas. Because it's a step up from trainee business sales technique. I'm calmer and just generally more charming, all without feeling like I'm having to put in miles of effort when I'm doing this sort of thing. I need to capture whatever it is about transatlantic travel that gets me into that headspace.

In an unrelated fashion, my specialist study appears to be fashionable again. Though at this point I’m not entirely sure that I care all that much anymore. It's been almost ten years after all.

On the other hand, this One Man Phantom of the Opera (Medley Cover) by Nick Pitera is enough to suggest that some of the things that I’ve forgotten might be worth remembering.
